Car Rental PoliciesOur car rental policies section answers PAYMENTDebit cards: Valid drivers license and debit card must be in the same name. Debit card will be charged at time of pickup. 1st time renters, see the Cash Rentals section. Major credit cards: Valid drivers license and credit card must be in the same name. Credit card must have available funds of $250.00 or estimated amount of rental charges whichever is greater. At time of rental credit card funds will be taken as a deposit against rental charges. Cash/Debit Card rentals: In order to utilize CASH or Debit Card (as opposed to major credit card) as a qualifying Method of Payment at time of rental, the following conditions must be satisfied:
INSURANCEOptional Insurance details available at rental counter. If renter elects to provide own insurance coverage, proof of insurance is required. If the primary renter or additional driver is between the ages of 21 - 24 they must have their own liability insurance coverage. Supplemental Liability Coverage (SLI) This coverage is excess over underlying insurance specific within your signed rental agreement up to 1,000,000 dollars. Protects you against claims made by third party for bodily injury and/or property damage sustained as a result of an accident while operating the rental vehicle. Does not cover all situations that may arise while operating a rental vehicle. Loss Damage Waiver Holiday offers to all renters LDW, Loss Damage Waiver, which for an additional daily charge relieves the renter of all financial responsibility for the loss or damage to the rental car, as long as the vehicle is used in accordance with the terms of the Rental Agreement. Renter may choose from a $500 deductible or $0 deductible. DRIVERS LICENSEA valid drivers license for all drivers on the rental agreement must be provided at the time of pickup. (U.S., Canadian or international licenses with a valid passport are accepted). We do not accept temporary paper drivers licenses. AGEMinimum age for renters and drivers is 21. CANCELLATIONThere is a 48 hour cancellation policy. A reservation deposit of $100 will be forfeited if cancelled within that time period unless Holiday is able to re-reserve the vehicle for the full value of the cancelled reservation. CUSTOMER PICKUP AND DROP OFFWe offer free customer pickup and drop off to local area only. Some restrictions apply. You must request a pickup or drop off at least 1 hour before closing. MILEAGEWe offer local and travel rates. Unlimited mileage available. Some restrictions apply. Over mileage on local rate is $.25 per mile. RESERVATION GRACE PERIODReservations will be honored for a period of 2 hours after the confirmed pick up date and time. If there is a deposit on the reservation, $100 of the deposit will be forfeited unless the vehicle can be re-rented for the full value of the reservation. EARLY/LATE RETURN - Your confirmed rental rate applies only to the exact reservation period specified. All passenger vans, minivans and large SUV's are subject to being charged for the time reserved. No credit will be allowed for an early return. However, in the event that you wish to extend a rental beyond the original return date, every effort will be made to extend the rental, but Holiday cannot guarantee the availability beyond the reservation date. ONE-WAY RENTALSWe do not offer one-way rentals. AFTER HOURSAfter hour drops are permitted. Each vehicle comes equipped with a key that will open the padlock to the gate. The key drop is located to the right of our front door in our Wynn's Service Door. GASVehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as at the start of the rental to avoid refueling charges. Refueling is charged at the rate of $8.00 per gallon. EMERGENCY INFORMATIONIn the event of an emergency such as an accident please contact your local police as well as the rental office during normal business hours. If due to a breakdown contact the rental office during normal business hours. Roadside assistance information is in the glove compartment of each vehicle which is provided by the specific manufacturer. EQUIPMENTGPS: GPS Units are available for rent at $5.00 per day, or $30 for the week. Please ask for details at the time of rental. GEOGRAPHICHoliday Rent a Car's Vehicles are NOT allowed to travel West of the Rocky Mountains or into Mexico. ADDITIONAL DRIVERSAdditional drivers must meet all qualifications as the primary driver in regards to age, license, and major credit card. An additional driver charge of $7.00 per day per additional driver. There is no additional driver charge for a spouse of the primary renter named on the rental agreement. RULESExtensions To extend the rental agreement, customers must contact our location by the original due date. Length of rental Rental agreements (contract) cannot be assigned for a period longer than 28 days. If you have reserved the vehicle for a longer period of time, you must come into our location prior to the 29th day and renew the rental agreement (contract). The rate booked is guaranteed for the original duration of the reservation. Returns earlier or later than the return date on the reservation will be subject to a higher daily rate. Grace period A rental day is each 24 hour time period commencing with the date/time indicated on the rental agreement (contract) at the time of rental. There is a 1-hour grace period for return. Hourly charges may apply after this grace period. After four hours a full-day charge will apply. Rental Requirements All renters/drivers will be required, at the time of rental, to supply: A valid drivers license (U.S., Canadian or international licenses with a valid passport are accepted), current home address (not P.O.Box), a current home phone number, and second contact phone number (cell or business). Pickup/Returns Vehicle must be returned to the same location as rented. ![]() ![]()
